Aston Martin DBX 707: Now The Fastest SUV

Aston Martin has been promising a faster version of the DBX since the regular one launched, and this is most definitely it. Based on manufacturer claims, the new 2023 DBX 707 is set to be the quickest performance SUV on the market. The 707 promises even greater dynamic appeal than the standard DBX, courtesy of uprated air suspension, a retuned power steering system, a strengthened limited-slip differential, and carbon-ceramic brake discs. The Aston Martin DBX 707 is much more than the normal DBX with a revised twin-turbo V8 under its hood. There’s a complete list of performance bits to make the DBX 707 among the quickest tested by the typical automotive magazines.

The DBX 707 comes with an upgraded version of the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that you’ll find in a lot of AMGs. Aston took the engine, added new turbochargers, and revised the calibration and tuning to increase output to 697 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque. That all translates into a 0-60 mph time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. That 0 – 60 time shaves over a second off the time achieved by the normal DBX. Aston Martin says production will begin in Q1 2022, with deliveries in Q2. There's no word yet on specific pricing. Since it's an Aston Martin and the standard DBX starts at $176,900, you can bet it will be pricey.
