Many restaurants come and go, but few have enjoyed the longevity of Yas restaurant. Originally located at the heart of Tehran’s Bazaar, the current owners, Mr. Mohsen Nasserian and sons, have carried on the traditions begun by Mr. Nasserian’s great grandfather some 150 years ago. In 1965 Yas was relocated to Tehran’s Uptown Vali-e-Asr Avenue. Yas is the hub of diplomats, broadcasters, entertainers and all those who value first-class Persian cuisine in a setting that inspires all.
