Ferrari 296 GTB: True Mclaren Artura Rival

The Ferrari 296 GTB is a plug-in hybrid sports car designed by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari, which was unveiled on 24 June 2021. The 2022 Ferrari 296GTB is an exotic sports car that represents a new era for the Italian automaker, one that revolves around a V-6 engine and hybrid technology. After a long hiatus, the six-cylinder Ferrari has returned, but don't call it a Dino. Instead, the new sports car from Maranello gets its name from the engine's displacement (2.9 liters) and the number of cylinders (six), plus the GTB suffix representing Gran Turismo Berlinetta.

The 296 GTB offers a total output of 818 hp and 740 Nm of torque from the twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Like the McLaren Artura, the 296 GTB’s V6 runs an unusual 120-degree vee angle. The electrically-assisted punch of 164 hp provided by the rear e-motor enables a 0 to 100 km/h run in 2.9 seconds to match the F8. The sprint to 200 km/h takes 7.3 seconds or half a second quicker than the Tributo. Flat out, it will do in excess of 330 km/h. Aerodynamic highlights include brake cooling ducts beside the headlights, a prominent rear diffuser, and an active rear spoiler that provides 100kg of downforce in standard guise, or 360kg with the Assetto Fiorano package. First European deliveries of the 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB will commence in early 2022, with prices in Italy to start from €269,000 in standard form, or €302,000 with the Assetto Fiorano pack.
