Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton Malletier, commonly referred to as Louis Vuitton or shortened to LV, is a French fashion house and luxury retail company founded in 1854 by Louis Vuitton. Prior to establishing this brand, Louis Vuitton quickly became a valued craftsman at a famous Parisian atelier. These were the roots of his highly specialized trade; the beginnings of his career in an artisanal industry that called upon skills to custom design boxes and, later, trunks according to clients’ wishes. This visionary man profoundly changed the art of luggage making, and in doing so, changed the notion of travel itself.

Between a craftsman’s exceptional technique, and a designer’s vision and inventiveness, Louis Vuitton offered its expertise to bring elegance and distinctiveness to its creations. A Louis Vuitton piece is not just a product; it is the embodiment of incomparable techniques and refined quality. Each LV item showcases the brand’s signature artistic style and bears witness to the French lifestyle.
