The historical and ancient walkway of El-Goli (Shah Goli) is the most famous recreational complex in Tabriz, located in south east of this city. Shah Goli is an Azeri term which means "The Royal Pool". El-Goli also written as ''El-Gölü" is a recreational center with a design similar to Iranian old gardens, and includes a pool (lake) and a pavilion mansion (El-Goli Palace) located in the middle of a large garden with tall and old trees. The depth of the lake is 12 meters deep and it also provides a boating area. There is also a Luna park as well as numerous resorts, within the premises of this recreational center.
